Job Summary
Provide critical care level care for inter-facility transportation of injured and/or ill patients in a station-based ALS unit. Operate emergency vehicles safely per EVOC standards while documenting and maintaining accurate medical records using ImageTrend Elite charting software. Work varied 12-hour shifts including days, nights, or swings to cover northern New Mexico. Join Albuquerque Ambulance Services as part of a supportive team offering a slower pace compared to 911 response.
Required Qualifications
- FLIGHT PARAMEDIC CERTIFICATION (FPC) OR BE WILLING TO OBTAIN IT
- High School Diploma/GED equivalent
- Current New Mexico driver's license without relevant restrictions within 30 days of hire
- At least 18 years of age with a driving record insurable per Presbyterian policy
- New Mexico Paramedic license
- Current ACLS and BLS through AHA, ASHI, or Red Cross
- Up to date with FEMA 100, 200, 700 courses
- Must pass physical abilities assessment
- Must obtain medical examiner certification/DOT certification as part of on-boarding
