Job Summary
Assess call situations to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols. Utilize skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced patient care. Communicate with patients and families to provide information and assurance. Act as team leader to manage the scene and unit. Drive the ambulance on 911 responses and collaborate professionally with allied health and public safety personnel. This part-time role offers a $15k sign-on bonus for full-time commitment and includes a $5/hour night shift differential. AMR delivers compassionate emergency and patient relocation services through Global Medical Response.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Must have valid State Driver's License
- State Paramedic License
- BLS, ACLS, PHTLS/ITLS, PALS
- Pass Physical Ability Test (PAT)
Desired Qualifications
- Some work experience, preferably in healthcare preferred
