Job Summary
Assess call situations using Paramedic protocols and utilize advanced medical equipment including defibrillators, EKG monitors, and IV fluids to provide patient care. Drive the ambulance for 911 responses while acting as team leader for unit management. Communicate with patients and families to ensure they understand care is being delivered. Collaborate professionally with allied health and public safety personnel. Participate in community programs to maintain the AMR image and establish strong local relations. Full-time 12-hour shifts with a 42-hour average weekly schedule.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- WA State Paramedic License
- WA State Driver's License
- BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic
- Driving record in compliance with company policy
- Pass Physical Agility Test
- Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
