Job Summary
The QRV (Quick Response Vehicle) Paramedic position involves responding to emergency medical situations, providing ALS care on scene, and maintaining ambulance equipment and vehicle. Key responsibilities include operating independently in the field, collaborating with other emergency responders, and completing patient care reports. Candidates must possess a state EMT-P license for Georgia and Tennessee, along with necessary certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- State of Georgia EMT-P License
- State of Tennessee EMT-P License
- Basic Life Support Certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- PALS
- EVOC or equivalent certification
- Current Driver’s License
- PLS certified in the maintenance of ventilators
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to collaborate effectively with other first responders
- Demonstrated ability to effectively present information and respond to questions regarding patient care, operations and other customer service issues
- Knowledge of methods and techniques for providing on-site emergency medical services
- Demonstrated ability to write reports, and correspondence
- Demonstrated skills in the successful completion of multiple, simultaneous and rapidly emergent tasks
