Paramedic - QRV (Quick Response Vehicle)

Job Summary
A QRV paramedic responds from a rapid response vehicle to provide emergency medical care and collaborate with BLS crews in emergency situations. The role requires excellent decision-making skills, the ability to work independently and in teams, and compliance with state regulations. Duties include maintaining equipment, communicating with medical staff, ensuring cleanliness, and completing necessary reports. Required qualifications include EMT-P licenses in Georgia and Tennessee, various medical certifications, and a high school diploma.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- State of Georgia EMT-P License
- State of Tennessee EMT-P License
- Basic Life Support Certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- PALS
- EVOC or equivalent certification
- Current Driver’s License
- PLS certified in the maintenance of ventilators
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of methods and techniques for providing on-site emergency medical services.
- Demonstrated ability to utilize personal computer systems including PCR reporting, email, and MDT applications.
Additional Requirements
- Employees hired into this position are subject to a six-month introductory probationary period.
