Job Summary
Facilitate age-appropriate, culturally sensitive care, maintain a safe environment, and educate patients and families while collecting information and communicating effectively. Participate in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of health care services under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and/or Physician. Provide patient advocacy, teaching, and performance improvement oversight, including the management of unlicensed personnel. Maintain current BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, with new specialty candidates completing applicable training within 120 days. Requires a current Georgia Paramedic license and National Registry certification preferred.
Required Qualifications
- H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- BCLS - Basic Life Support BLS Certification
- ACLS
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
- Current certification as a Paramedic in the State of Georgia
- National Registry
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year of experience as a Paramedic
