Job Summary
Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols. Utilize skills on medical equipment including defibrillators, EKG monitors, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced patient care. Act as team leader for scene and unit management, driving ambulances on 911 responses while communicating with patients and loved ones. Work collaboratively with allied health and public safety personnel. Participate in community programs to maintain the AMR image and establish strong community relations. Requires State Paramedic License, PHTLS certification, and BLS/ACLS. Salary range is $73,394.83 to $112,102.00.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- State Paramedic License
- PHTLS or a trauma certification equivalent
- State Driver's License
- BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic
- Driving record in compliance with company policy
- Pass Physical Agility Test
- Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
