Paramedic - Portland

Assess call situations to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols. Utilize advanced medical skills on equipment including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen, suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide patient care. Drive the ambulance on 911 responses and act as team leader for scene and unit management. Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance. Work collaboratively with allied health and public safety personnel. Participate in community programs to maintain the AMR image and establish strong community relations. This role offers paid shift differentials, enhanced holiday pay, and paid training within Global Medical Response's emergency and patient relocation services.
