Paramedic - Portland

Assess call situations to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols. Utilize Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care. Drive the ambulance on 911 responses and act as team leader for scene and unit management. Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance. Work collaboratively with allied health, public safety personnel, and fellow Paramedics. Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations. Salary range is $73,394.83 - $112,102.00 depending on experience. Requires State Paramedic License, PHTLS or trauma certification, BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic, and valid driver's license.
