Paramedic - Portland

Assess call situations to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols. Utilize skills on medical equipment including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced patient care. Communicate with patients and families to assure care is being delivered, then act as team leader managing scene and unit operations. Drive the ambulance for 911 responses while collaborating professionally with allied health and public safety personnel. Participate in community programs to maintain the AMR image and establish strong community relations. This role offers paid shift differentials, enhanced holiday pay, and paid training for a team delivering compassionate emergency and patient relocation services.
