Job Summary
Assess call situations to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols. Utilize advanced medical skills on equipment including defibrillators, EKG monitors, and IV fluids to provide patient care. Drive the ambulance for 911 responses and act as team leader for scene and unit management. Communicate with patients and families to assure care is being delivered. Collaborate professionally with allied health and public safety personnel. Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations. Requires State Paramedic License, PHTLS certification, and BLS/ACLS. Salary ranges from $73,394.83 to $112,102.00 depending on experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- State Paramedic License
- PHTLS or a trauma certification equivalent
- State Driver's License
- BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic
- Driving record in compliance with company policy
- Pass Physical Agility Test
- Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
