Job Summary
Provides pre-hospital Advanced Life Support Care as prescribed by Departmental and Hospital policies and procedures as well as the New Jersey State Department of Health MICU regulations. Conducts thorough patient assessments, delivers appropriate pre-hospital care, communicates with physicians and teams, prioritizes care based on urgency and resources, and maintains certifications and documentation. Per Diem role in Englewood, NJ with 12-hour shifts; requires EMS credentials and healthcare-specific training.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Current N.J. MICU certification
- Current Automobile license with no moving traffic violations
- Emergency Vehicle Driver Training Course (CEVO or equivalent)
- Ability to lift, move and carry patients
- Demonstrated communication/writing skills
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS & PALS certifications
- Hazardous Materials - Training/Operations (Level I NJ State Police Office of Emergency Management)
- Incident Command System Training/NJ State Police, Office of Emergency Management
- CEVO must be completed within 4 months of hire date
