Job Summary
Provide advanced life support care to ill and/or injured patients of all age groups under physician direction or approved EMS protocols. Transport multiple patients while setting priorities, coordinating delivery plans, and maintaining fleet vehicle and ALS gear readiness. Recognize and communicate patient condition changes, complete all required documentation and patient care reports, and ensure the ambulance is clean, stocked, and response ready at the beginning and end of every shift. Work two 12-hour shifts from 7am to 7pm on weekends only. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency
- Active Paramedic license through the Indiana Department of Homeland Security (IDHS)
- BLS certification
- PALS & ACLS certifications issued by AHA or ARC
- Other certifications and specialty training as required by the Indiana Department of Homeland Security (IDHS)
- Valid driver's license
- Weekends only
- Two 12-hour shifts
- 7am - 7pm
- Drug-free workplace
- Post offer, pre-employment drug testing
