Job Summary
Paramedic - Part Time/Casual with Tri-Community South EMS seeking EMT-Paramedic professionals to perform pre-hospital care, transport ill/injured to facilities, maintain certifications (CPR/ACLS/PALS/EMSVO), and follow department SOPs. Responsibilities include accurate reporting, input of medical records, communicating with dispatch and facilities, maintaining vehicle and equipment,HIPAA compliance, and adherence to system guidelines. Requires ability to lift 175 lb with a partner, operate in various shifts, and participate in continuing education; duties include field patient assessment, patient transport, and public-relations activities. Must meet PA EMT-Paramedic requirements and related credentials; formal selection includes education rating and interviews.
Required Qualifications
- Current EMT/Paramedic certification in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
- EMSVO certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year experience with Medical Command
- Current CPR, ACLS, PALS certifications and child clearances
