Job Summary
We are recruiting a qualified Paramedic to join our team in Waipukurau for a permanent 4x4 rostered role, with consideration for Emergency Medical Technicians who are eligible for the Graduate Paramedic Pathway. The Graduate Paramedic Programme supports transitioning into a career in paramedicine at Hato Hone St John, offering life-saving care to those in need, aligned with our core values. The role requires registration/eligibility with Te Kaunihera Manapou Paramedic Council, and may involve pre-employment checks, including health and physical assessments; clinical operations roles may require meeting medical standards.
Required Qualifications
- Hold Paramedic ATP and be registered with Te Kaunihera Manapou Paramedic Council
- Or Current permanent employee of Hato Hone St John holding EMT ATP and have completed a Bachelor of Health Science Paramedicine degree (or equivalent) and be eligible or already registered with Te Kaunihera Manapou Paramedic Council or be in your final semester of study completing a Bachelor of Health Science Paramedicine (or equivalent) and be eligible to become registered with Te Kaunihera Manapou Paramedic Council on graduation
