Job Summary
Conduct all basic patient care duties and assist with direct patient care to provide support services to patients, families, and Emergency Services staff. Perform therapeutic treatments as ordered by the physician on duty, operate laboratory equipment, manage patient discharge, and deliver patient education. Maintain current Texas EMT-P certification and required Advanced Cardio Life Support, Basic Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support certifications. This role supports the mission of Methodist Health System, a Dallas-based faith-based organization with a Level I Trauma Center and extensive network of hospitals and clinics dedicated to compassionate, quality healthcare.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Current Texas EMT-P certification (license required)
- National EMT-P Certification
- Current Basic Life Support Certification
- Current Advanced Cardio Life Support Certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification
- 1 year of work-related experience
