Job Summary
Conduct all basic patient care duties and assist with direct patient care to support services for patients, families, and Emergency Services staff. Provide therapeutic treatment as ordered, operate laboratory equipment, and manage patient discharge and education. Maintain current Texas EMT-P certification, Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardio Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support certifications. This role supports the mission of Methodist Health System, a Dallas-based faith-based organization with 12 hospitals including a Level I Trauma Center.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Current Texas EMT-P certification (license required)
- National EMT-P Certification
- Current Basic Life Support Certification
- Current Advanced Cardio Life Support Certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification within 90 days of hire
