Job Summary
Conduct pre-hospital and intra-hospital advanced life support care from initial contact until patient care is relinquished, maintaining thorough documentation for each dispatched flight. Complete electronic patient care records and daily base checks including narcotic counts. Participate in pre-mission briefings, liftoff checklists, and mission debriefings while assisting with pilot navigation and radio activities. Maintain competency through ongoing clinical experiences and ensure compliance with safety standards for self, crew, patients, and equipment. Fill open shifts within the assigned area as directed by the Regional Director.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of three (3) years' experience in a 911 or critical care setting
- Current EMT-P license/certification in the states served by the assigned area
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- NRP certification
- Trauma certification
- Flight Paramedic-Certified (FP-C) certification within 24 months from date of hire
Desired Qualifications
- Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS
- NREMT-P certification
- The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of Klamath Falls, OR, or be willing to relocate
