Paramedic - Massena

Respond to emergency calls, assess patients, and administer advanced life support including airway management, IV therapy, and defibrillation. Safely transport patients to medical facilities while monitoring their condition and providing necessary care during transit. Coordinate with dispatch, firefighters, law enforcement, and healthcare professionals, and maintain accurate patient care reports documenting assessments and treatments. Ensure vehicle and equipment readiness, educate patients and families in crisis situations, and lift or move patients up to 250 lbs in challenging environments. Interpret diagnostic instructions and calculate weight and volume ratios while adhering to legal and safety protocols. Maintain composure in high-pressure situations involving uncontrolled or hazardous conditions.
