Job Summary
Respond to emergency calls, assess patients, and provide advanced life support including airway management, IV therapy, and defibrillation. Safely transport patients to medical facilities while monitoring their condition and communicating with dispatchers, firefighters, and law enforcement. Maintain accurate patient care reports, ensure vehicle readiness, and educate patients during crisis situations. Lift and move patients up to 250 lbs in challenging environments, including extreme terrain or temperatures. Work per diem in 12-hour shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Current NYS Licensed Paramedic
- Valid Driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- 3 years' experience in 911 and inter-facility transport
- Experience with critical care transports
