Paramedic - Massena

Respond to emergency calls, assess patients, and administer advanced life support including airway management, IV therapy, and defibrillation. Safely transport patients to medical facilities while monitoring their condition and providing necessary care during transit. Communicate with dispatchers, firefighters, law enforcement, and healthcare professionals, and maintain accurate patient care reports documenting assessments and treatments. Ensure vehicle cleanliness and equipment readiness, educate patients and families in crisis situations, and interpret diagnostic instructions. Work in uncontrolled environments including extreme terrain or weather, lifting patients and transporting medical equipment. Requires current NYS Licensed Paramedic status, BLS/ACLS/PALS credentials, valid driver's license, and ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations.
