Job Summary
Respond to emergency calls, assess patients, and provide advanced life support including airway management, IV therapy, and defibrillation. Safely transport patients to medical facilities while monitoring conditions and communicating with dispatchers, firefighters, and law enforcement. Maintain accurate patient care reports, ensure vehicle readiness, and educate families in crisis situations. Lift and move patients up to 250 lbs in challenging environments, including extreme terrain or inclement weather. Work 12-hour shifts on a per diem basis.
Required Qualifications
- Current NYS Licensed Paramedic
- Valid Driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- 3 years' experience in 911 and inter-facility transport
- Experience with critical care transports
