Paramedic - Massena

Respond to emergency calls, assess patients, and administer advanced life support including airway management, IV therapy, and defibrillation. Safely transport patients to medical facilities while monitoring their condition and providing necessary care during transit. Coordinate with dispatch, firefighters, law enforcement, and healthcare professionals, and maintain accurate patient care reports documenting assessments and treatments. Ensure vehicle and equipment readiness, educate patients and families in crisis situations, and interpret diagnostic instructions. Work in uncontrolled environments including extreme terrain or temperatures, lifting patients and transporting medical equipment without assistance. Maintain composure in high-stress situations and participate in continuous education to stay current with medical protocols.
