Job Summary
Respond to emergency calls, assess patients, and administer advanced life support including airway management, IV therapy, and defibrillation. Safely transport patients to medical facilities while monitoring their condition and providing necessary care during transit. Maintain accurate patient care reports, educate patients and families in crisis situations, and ensure vehicle and equipment readiness. Adhere to legal protocols and interpret diagnostic instructions while lifting and moving patients in challenging environments. Work 12-hour shifts on a per diem basis in Massena, NY.
Required Qualifications
- Current NYS Licensed Paramedic
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS - if not AHA, must obtain AHA credentials within 3 months of hire
- Valid Driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- 3 years' experience in 911 and inter-facility transport
- Experience with critical care transports
