Paramedic - Massena

Respond to emergency calls, assess patients, and administer advanced life support including airway management, IV therapy, and defibrillation. Safely transport patients to medical facilities while monitoring their condition and providing necessary care during transit. Coordinate with dispatch, firefighters, and law enforcement, and maintain accurate patient care reports documenting all treatments and responses. Ensure emergency vehicles and medical equipment remain clean and ready, while educating patients and families in crisis situations. Adhere to legal, safety protocols, and interpret diagnostic instructions. Work in uncontrolled environments including extreme terrain or inclement weather, lifting patients and transporting equipment without assistance. Maintain composure in high-stress situations and participate in continuous education to stay current with medical protocols.
