Respond to emergency calls within time guidelines, delivering care appropriate to patient needs using basic and advanced life support. Perform ambulance and equipment maintenance while ensuring radio operational status. Obtain EKGs, venipuncture, and measure vital signs under supervision of licensed registered nurses. Complete patient care reports accurately and communicate critical information to receiving facilities. Maintain competency in skills including intravenous infusions, medications, and cardiac monitoring. Adhere to state and federal regulations while establishing positive relationships with local pre-hospital providers and hospitals.
