Job Summary
Provide high-quality patient care in pre-hospital and inter-facility transport settings by performing advanced and basic life support interventions. Assess, diagnose, treat, and transport patients with a wide range of medical conditions and injuries while delivering compassionate care. Maintain current ALS certification and applicable skill-based level cards, utilizing computer systems for timekeeping, scheduling, and charting. Meet physical demands including lifting patients up to 250 lbs and operating in extended periods of sitting or standing. Required Qualifications
- Pennsylvania Paramedic (EMT-P)
- ability to get reciprocity upon hire (DE and MD certification)
- Current and valid ALS certification
- Current certification cards for all applicable skill-based levels (BTLS, PALS, NALS, etc.)
- Valid driver's license
- EMSVO
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Background check

- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role: lifting/moving patients (125 lbs unassisted/250+ lbs assisted), including carrying patients up/down stairs, using stretcher, and stair chairs, extended periods of sitting/standing, and frequent movement
