Job Summary
Lead daily clinic operations by assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients at an advanced practice level while prescribing medications within regulatory guidelines. Manage staff performance, oversee pharmacy security and medical supply control, and drive continuous improvement through quarterly internal audits and accurate record management. Champion occupational health by leading rehabilitation programs, managing return-to-work initiatives, and implementing jobsite health plans. Monitor key metrics on patient trends and staffing changes through detailed daily, weekly, and monthly reports while fostering a culture of excellence. Work Monday through Friday in 10-hour shifts with occasional weekend coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of medical practice and occupational health
- Knowledge of medical policies, regulations, and procedures
- Skill in developing and maintaining records, writing reports, and responding to correspondence
- Skill in developing and maintaining medical quality assurance and quality control standards
- Ability to react calmly, objectively, and effectively in emergency situations
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze and interpret data if an effort is to evaluate clinical performance
- Minimum 3 years of emergency/urgent care experience
- Occupational medicine experience
- Previous experience working with Workers Compensation, DOT, and OSHA Regulated Exams desirable
- Current Texas Nurse Practitioner license in good standing
- ACLS
- BLS
- DEA License
- Excellent written and oral English
