Job Summary
Develop, coordinate, and instruct Paramedic level course curriculum that meets established national curriculum standards. Maintain annual course schedules, classroom materials, and equipment; supervise paramedic school laboratory and clinical site activities; ensure documentation and KPI reporting accuracy; participate in projects enhancing EMS education; maintain knowledge of current clinical protocols; be prepared to perform as a field Paramedic; demonstrate professional communication and confidentiality; adhere to safety, compliance, and ADA guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Nationally registered Paramedic with a minimum of two years of field or supervisor experience in an EMS system at the Paramedic level.
- One year of instructor experience preferred.
- Two or more of the following instructor ratings within six months of time in position: CPR, ACLS, BTLS, PHTLS, PEPPOSDH.
- State EMS Instructor License or ability to obtain.
- Associate’s degree required for primary instructor; Associate’s degree preferred for secondary instructor.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must possess a valid Oklahoma driver’s license.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
