Job Summary
Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls while delivering high-quality patient care within established protocols and company policies. Oversee task performance of an EMT partner and make or approve all decisions requiring interpretation of clinical delivery. Maintain primary responsibility for the operation of the assigned unit. Requires a Paramedic license, valid driver's license, and certifications including ACLS, PALS, PHTLS, and CPR. Hourly rate ranges from $24.11 to $33.75. Flexible schedules available across day, evening, and night shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Paramedic training and license as required by state to which assigned
- Valid State Driver's License
- Cardiac Life Support for healthcare professional certification (CPR)
- Pre Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) Provider Certification (must obtain within 6 months of employment)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Care Life Support certification (PALS)
- Effective verbal and written communication skills using appropriate grammar, vocabulary, and word usage
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Desired Qualifications
- Some past work experience in EMS healthcare
