Job Summary
Paramedic responsible for providing prehospital Advanced Life Support to patients of all ages in designated EMS service areas, performing ALS care and mutual-aid support as needed. Role requires delivering high-quality clinical care across neonates to geriatrics in ALS and Critical Care environments, adhering to relevant standards (AHA, NJ DOH EMS regulations) and ensuring patient safety, time management, and effective teamwork. Must hold or be eligible for NJ Paramedic certification, a valid NJ driver’s license, and required certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS; PHTLS/ITLS preferred). Familiarity with CAPCE/advanced credentials (e.g., CCEMT-P, CCP-C, FP-C) is preferred, along with strong communication and adaptability in dynamic EMS settings.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license in NJ
- NJ Paramedic certification or eligibility (reciprocity)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Certification in Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support or ITLS preferred
