Job Summary
Conduct primary patient care in emergency and non-emergency situations by examining, evaluating, and administering immediate medical interventions including CPR, AED, ventilation, and hemorrhage control. Operate the ambulance in various road conditions to safely transport patients to medical facilities while documenting all aspects of care provided. Requires current Missouri licensure as an E.M.T.-P, a valid For-hire driver's license (Class E or greater), and the ability to make rapid decisions under stress. Schedule includes 40 varied rotating hours. CoxHealth serves 25 counties across southwest Missouri and northern Arkansas with six hospitals, five ERs, and over 80 clinics.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Must be 18 years of age
- Current Missouri licensure as E.M.T.-P
- For-hire driver's license (Class E) or greater (CDL) for operation of an ambulance in the state of residence
