Job Summary
Paramedic role in AMR Josephine County (Grants Pass) delivering ALS care and transport in a busy 911 system (~17,000 requests/year). Lead scene and unit management with paramedic protocols, collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel, and provide patient and family communication. The position offers flexible scheduling and potential relocation assistance; supports career development and ongoing training through programs like Learn as you earn and tuition reimbursement. Requires a State Paramedic License, state driver’s license, and a full paramedic skill set (BLS, ACLS, PALS and PHTLS/ITLS).
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- State Paramedic License
- State Driver’s License
- BLS, ACLS, PALS and PHTLS or ITLS
- Driving record in compliance with company policy
- Pass Physical Agility Test
- Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
