Paramedic

Respond as dispatched within the defined geographic coverage area to enhance community advanced life support services. Perform patient assessments, obtain historical data, and convey findings via two-way communications to the Medical Commander. Assume control at pre-hospital scenes, direct primary response personnel, and conduct vehicle and equipment surveys at tour onset and post-encounter. Complete written reports detailing dispatch outcomes and patient encounters at destination facilities and base locations. Participate in orientation and preceptorships for new personnel, students, and volunteers. Share in housekeeping duties and actively participate in patient safety improvement programs by identifying potential errors and adverse events. Coordinate with local Fire and Rescue for joint operations and comply with all Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle Laws and organizational policies.
