Paramedic

Provides pre-hospital advanced life support services in accordance with the Pennsylvania Emergency Medical Services Act. Responds to dispatch within defined geographic coverage, performing patient assessments, conveying findings to Medical Command, and effecting patient care per regional protocols. Assumes control at patient encounters, conducts vehicle and equipment checks, and completes patient encounter documentation. Participates in orientation and preceptorships of new staff and engages in patient safety improvement initiatives. Requires a valid driver's license and certifications in Basic Life Support and as a Certified Paramedic.
