Job Summary
Perform Advanced Life Support for ill and injured patients including advanced procedures such as intubations and cardiac monitoring. Manage first responders and ensure quality patient care while filing reports on patient information. Maintain vehicle and medical equipment, operate emergency vehicles, and conduct technical rescues. Requires strong medical skills, ability to handle emotional needs, and effective communication with medical staff. Must possess licensure and certifications in Paramedicine and maintain professional relationships.
Required Qualifications
- Paramedic Licensure
- CPR for the Health Care Provider
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Additional Requirements
- Must maintain annual paramedic certification and attend continuing education classes as required by the state.
