Job Summary
Provide basic and advanced life support (BLS/ALS) within the Paramedic scope of practice while safely operating and maintaining emergency vehicles in compliance with state and local regulations. Deliver competent, compassionate patient care in clinical and transport settings by effectively applying EMS protocols, communicating professionally with patients and healthcare personnel, and documenting care accurately using the electronic charting system. Assist fellow EMS providers, ensure vehicle cleanliness, and restock supplies as needed. Requires current Paramedic certification, valid driver's license, and ability to lift up to 125 lbs. Required Qualifications
- Current Paramedic certification/license (state-specific requirements apply)
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to safely operate EMS vehicles and essential equipment
- Ability to bend, sit, kneel, and lift up to 125 lbs; push/pull over 50 lbs
- Maintain physical agility for safe patient handling in demanding environments
- Tolerate extended periods of driving or riding in an ambulance
- Perform effectively in physically strenuous and emotionally challenging situation
