Paramedic, Full Time, Day Shift

Provides emergency care in the pre-hospital environment and delivers advanced-level medical care including evaluation, treatment and stabilization of a broad range of medical emergencies. Responds to emergency calls (CPR or wound care), assesses patient condition to determine a course of treatment, and provides first-aid or life support as per clinical practice standards. Administers medications orally and intravenously, may intubate or perform surgical airway insertion (cricothyrotomy), and places venous access catheters including central venous lines. Performs other duties as assigned and may conduct emergency medical classes as requested by the department manager.
