Job Summary
Provides patient care to an assigned group of patients utilizing licensed Paramedic skills. Responsibilities include observing and reporting patient conditions, performing skills and assisting with patient care activities, administering treatments and medications, and documenting data according to hospital policies. Requires possession of a valid Paramedic license and certification in BLS and ACLS. Preferred experience includes 1-2 years as a Paramedic. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to prioritize and organize effectively.
Required Qualifications
- Possession of National Paramedic Registry
- Valid, current, State of Oklahoma Paramedic License
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certificates
- 1 - 2 years experience as a Paramedic preferred
- Knowledge of basic and advanced life support techniques
- Effective interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and organize work in an effective and efficient manner
- Ability to be detail oriented
