Job Summary
As a Paramedic in the Emergency Department, you will provide direct patient care under physician supervision, perform medical treatments, document patient-related tasks, and comply with relevant regulations and standards.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduation from an approved Paramedic Program
- Paramedic License in the State of Practice
- Certified with the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians as a Paramedic
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) to be obtained within 90 days of hire
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification to be obtained within 90 days of hire
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) Certification to be obtained within 30 days of hire
Desired Qualifications
- Emergency Medical Services (EMS) or Hospital Experience
