Job Summary
Join Ochsner Health as a Paramedic in the Emergency Department, providing direct patient care and supporting physicians under supervision. Ideal candidates will possess a paramedic license, certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and CPI, alongside a high school diploma and completion of a Paramedic Program. No previous experience is required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduation from an approved Paramedic Program
- Paramedic License in the State of Practice
- Certified with the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians as a Paramedic
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (to be obtained within 90 days of hire)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (to be obtained within 90 days of hire)
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) Certification (to be obtained within 30 days of hire)
