Job Summary
Paramedics sought to join Banner Health’s founding team at a new freestanding Emergency Department in Buckeye, AZ. Responsibilities include evaluating patient acuity and matching care to resources, providing hands-on care (including IVs, airway management, ECG monitoring, medication administration within state scope, and basic patient care tasks), participating in resuscitation, documenting assessments and patient progress, and coordinating with multiple care teams. Candidates must have a Paramedic certification/license, current BLS and ACLS, PALS if working with pediatric patients, and typically 2–4 years of relevant experience. The role supports full-time and part-time schedules with varied day and night shifts and associated differential pay. Supportive, collaborative, patient-centered care environment with state-of-the-art facilities is emphasized.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Paramedic certification or license within the state of practice
- Current BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification if working in ED or with Pediatric population
