Job Summary
Design and coordinate staff and community programs to enhance abilities and promote wellness. Assist in coordinating professional development for Medical Center staff to maintain licensure and certification requirements. Develop, implement, and maintain records for accrediting agencies while recommending management changes. Participate in developing simulation education and support orientation programs for Nursing and Code Ready initiatives. Compile and submit QA reports to the Director. Requires current Ohio EMT-Paramedic certification, ACLS, PALS, and BLS instructor status. Flexible hours including weekends and evenings required.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited program of paramedic training
- Current certification as an EMT-Paramedic from the State of Ohio
- National Registry certification
- ACLS, PALS, and BLS Instructor Status through American Heart Association
- Ability to obtain ACLS, PALS, and BLS Instructor Status within 90 days
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings as needed
- Successful completion of a 90 day probationary period
