Job Summary
Facilitate age-appropriate, culturally and ethnically sensitive care while maintaining a safe environment, educating patients and families, and collecting information. Participate in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of health care service delivery. Provide patient advocacy, teaching, and performance improvement oversight of unlicensed personnel. Requires current Georgia Licensed Paramedic certification and BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications upon hire. Works nights in the ED and WEO under supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician.
Required Qualifications
- H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- 1 year of experience as a Paramedic
- BCLS - Basic Life Support BLS Certification
- ACLS
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
- LP - Licensed Paramedic Current certification as a Paramedic in the State of Georgia
Desired Qualifications
- LP - Licensed Paramedic Current certification as a Paramedic in the National Registry
