Job Summary
Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, communicating clinical changes to physicians and responding quickly to condition shifts. Perform advanced life support and paraprofessional tasks across all department areas while adhering to EMTALA regulations and abuse reporting protocols. Maintain current Georgia Composite State Board paramedic licensure, BCLS, and ACLS certifications. Work full-time day shifts as part of an emergency medical team under physician and nurse direction.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid paramedic license issued by the Georgia Composite State Board
- Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
- ACLS 30 days upon hire and maintain current
Desired Qualifications
- PALS and/or ENPC recommended
