Job Summary
Conduct pre-hospital and intra-hospital advanced life support care from initial contact until patient care is relinquished. Complete and submit electronic patient care records for each dispatched flight and maintain daily narcotic counts. Participate in pre-mission briefings, liftoff checklists, and mission debriefings while assisting with pilot assistance activities as needed. Maintain competency through ongoing clinical experiences and ensure compliance with safety standards for self, patients, and equipment. Fill open or vacant shifts within the assigned area as directed. Requires current EMT-P license, FP-C certification within 24 months, and BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications. Starting pay is $21.34 hourly plus a $4.16 hourly area stipend in Anadarko, OK.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of three (3) years' experience in a 911 or critical care setting
- Current EMT-P license/certification in the states served by the assigned area
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- NRP certification
- Trauma certification
- Flight Paramedic-Certified (FP-C) certification within 24 months from date of hire
- NREMT-P certification in assigned area
Desired Qualifications
- Prior flight experience
- Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS
