Job Summary
Assist the Licensed Independent Practitioner, R.N., and Unit Secretary as a member of the healthcare team to ensure smooth patient flow through the department. Provide exceptional care in fast-paced emergency settings for both children and adults while easing patient fears. Maintain current licensure including Paramedic license, BLS, and ACLS, and possess basic medical terminology and computer familiarity. Prioritize multiple assignments effectively within a high-volume environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Current American Heart Association approved CPR certification
- Current Paramedic license
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
Desired Qualifications
- Previous patient care experience in an Emergency environment
- Previous patient care experience with children
