Job Summary
Administer basic and advanced life support treatments, safely operate emergency vehicles, and deliver competent patient care in various settings. Maintain equipment, ensure cleanliness, and restock supplies while documenting information accurately in the charting system. Interact professionally with healthcare personnel, maintain clear communications with the Dispatch Center, and adhere to company policies and protocols. Perform first aid to injured coworkers when necessary. This role requires current Paramedic certification, a valid driver's license, and strong clinical decision-making skills. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Current Paramedic certification
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Current CPR
- Strong clinical knowledge and decision-making skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to safely operate EMS vehicles and essential equipment
- Bend, sit, kneel, and lift up to 125 lbs; push/pull objects over 50 lbs
- Maintain physical agility for safe patient handling in demanding environments
- Tolerate extended periods of driving or riding in an ambulance
- Perform effectively in physically strenuous and emotionally challenging situations
