Job Summary

Required Qualifications
- Education: High school graduate or equivalent
- Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration: Certified in the state of Virginia as a Paramedic
- AHA BLS - HCP
- ACLS, PALS, Haz Mat Awareness, NRP and PHTLS or BTLS required within one year from date of hire
- Maintains and excellent driving record and may operate vehicle to emergency scene
- Obtains patient information needed for insurance billings and has knowledge of covered and non-covered charges
- Maintains continuing education hours to meet re-certification status as required by state and national standards
- Utilizes excellent communication skills in dealing with staff, peers, patients and family members
- W rites clearly and presents numerical data/patient reports effectively
- Maintains knowledge of basic computer skills and applicable software
