Job Summary
Assess call situations to determine the best course of action using progressive Paramedic protocols. Utilize medical equipment including defibrillators, EKG monitors, and oxygen devices to provide advanced patient care. Drive the ambulance on 911 responses while communicating with patients and families to assure care is being delivered. Act as team leader to manage the scene and unit. Collaborate professionally with allied health and public safety personnel. Participate in community programs to maintain the AMR image and establish strong community relations. Requires a State Paramedic License, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NREMT-Paramedic certification. Offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus for full-time positions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- State Paramedic License
- State Driver's License
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NREMT-Paramedic
- Driving record compliant with company policy
- Must be able to successfully pass Physical Agility Test
- Good physical stamina, endurance, and body condition that would not be adversely affected by frequently having to walk, stand, lift, carry, and balance at times
- Must be able to lift, drag, hoist, and carry different types of equipment and other objects
Desired Qualifications
